Registration Process and Steps

1. What are the steps of IR through Lakshya?

The Initial Registration process includes:
Completing the required payment based on your qualification.

Sending all the required documents via email. (To cbe.cok@iiclakshya.com)

Filling out the Google form correctly with your basic details and payment information.

NB : Please note that to complete your registration, students should follow all the mentioned steps above. Failing to follow any of the above steps will hinder the IR process.

2. How long does it take to complete IR with ACCA?

Once you receive an email from ACCA with your registration number, it can take 7–10 working days to activate your MyACCA account.

3. Should I send the documents first with the CBE team before filling the form?

No. Follow the three-step registration process. Our team will verify the documents during the registration. If any additional documents/details are required, the CBE team will connect you within 5-7 working days either via email or by call.

4. I am currently living abroad. Is an Indian address mandatory?

Yes. If you are an Indian citizen, you must provide an Indian address as Per Your ID Proof, even if you're living abroad.

5. What does 'Batch' mean in the google form?

The 'Batch' refers to the combination of your level (Knowledge/Skill/P Level) and starting month of the batch you are enrolled in. This is not an important requirement for registration.

6. I didn’t receive a confirmation email after submitting the form and documents. What should I do?

No confirmation email is sent separately. Once we receive your Google Form response and documents, our team will verify them. If any additional information is needed, we’ll contact you either by call or email. To ensure smooth communication, please check your email inbox regularly.

7. I submitted my Google Form and shared documents yesterday but haven’t received any mail from ACCA. Is my IR completed?

No. It usually takes 5–7 working days for ACCA’s CBE team to process your application. Upon completion of registration, students will get an email with a unique registration number from the ACCA.

8. How do I set the password for my ACCA account after registration?

Visit https://portal.accaglobal.com and click on "New User - Set your password" and follow the on-screen instructions.

9. I received my Registration ID 15 days ago and set the password, but my account isn’t active yet. What should I do?

Please contact the CBE admin team immediately for assistance.

10. I have already registered (completed IR) previously. Should I do the registration again?

No. registration is a one time process from the ACCA. You can use the previous account you have, for your further studies on ACCA.

Payment and Fee-Related Queries

1. I have already paid the course fee. Do I need to pay for registration?

Yes. The IR fee is paid separately to ACCA for registration and is mandatory for students.

2. If my citizenship is different from India, is the IR fee the same?

No. The registration fee varies as per ACCA’s policy for non-Indian citizens and is different for different countries. Please connect with the CBE team to check your fees, if you are a Non-Indian citizen.

3. I have done the payment to Lakshya for IR. How can I confirm if the payment has been completed successfully?

Upon receiving your google form response for IR, our finance team will check and confirm this. In the event of an unsuccessful transaction, our team will connect you either by call or via email. For successful payments, there won’t be any specific communication.

4. When I tried to pay the IR fees, it showed “Receiver reached payment limit” or some technical issue occurred. The amount was refunded to my account. What should I do?

If you face this issue using Google Pay, try alternative methods like PhonePe or your bank’s payment app (e.g., SBI – YONO, SIB – SIB Mirror+, Federal Bank – FedMobile etc.).
You can also use bank-to-bank transfer or IMPS/NEFT.

If the issue persists, contact the CBE team for further support.

5. What is the payment reference number?

A payment reference number is a unique identifier assigned to a financial transaction to help track payments.

UPI Reference Number:
In UPI transactions, the reference number is a 12-digit code assigned to each transaction, also known as the UTR (Unique Transaction Reference) number.

Bank Transfer Reference:
When making a bank transfer, the reference number is often displayed on the bank statement or in the online banking portal.

Document Requirements & Format

1. My documents are in HEVC format. Is that acceptable?

No. All documents must be sent in PDF format, and the file size should be less than 5 MB.

2. Should I send each document in separate emails or combine them?

You can send all documents as separate pdf files in a single email, and they must be named properly.

3. My address in my ID proof differs from my current address. Which one should I use?

Use the address on your official ID proof.

4. Can I use my Driving License as ID proof?

No. Only Passport or Aadhar Card are accepted as valid ID proofs for Indian citizens. Both sides of the document are required.

5. There is a name mismatch between my ID proof and educational certificates. What should I do?

You have two options:
Correct your ID proof and submit the updated version.

Submit a "One and the Same" certificate (notarized affidavit from a government official). For further clarification, you can connect with our CBE Team.

6. I’m in the UAE and not returning to India soon. Can I get a “One and the Same” certificate from here?

Yes. NRI students can obtain an affidavit from the Indian Embassy.

7. I haven’t received my B.Com final certificate. What can I submit?

You can submit both your consolidated mark sheet and provisional certificate (original scanned copies).

8. I added watermarks to all my documents and password protected them for safety. Is that a problem?

Yes, ACCA does not accept watermarked or password-protected documents. Please remove any watermarks and security settings before submission.

9. Is a passport-sized photo really necessary? I have a full-sized one, which has been taken recently.

Yes, a passport-sized photograph is mandatory. It must be professional in appearance and of high quality. A full-sized photo will not be accepted.

10. I received an email from ACCA containing only a secure code two weeks ago and still haven’t received my registration number. What should I do?

Please check your inbox and spam/junk folder again. If you still cannot find the registration number, contact the CBE team immediately for assistance.
